Painting Party for Kids in Foster Care

Arizonans for Children Tutor/Mentor Outreach Coordinator Monique wanted to hold an event for kids in foster care and their Mentors where the children could paint something fun while creating a bond with their Mentor. In Monique's words: " Creativity is contagious. Pass it on!" (Albert Einsten) Recently, I hosted a painting party for mentors and mentees. These kids were so creative - it was a blast to watch them come up with their own ice cream flavors and topping designs. After all the hard work, they even enjoyed their very own REAL ice cream cones!
