Visitation Centers and Sack Meals - Helping Families Heal
As families in the foster care system work towards reunification keeping the family bond is crucial. Arizonans for Children Visitation Centers allow the families to meet in a neutral, fun, vibrant, engaging, safe and supervised environment.
There are 2 Arizonans for Children Visitation Centers with the hopes of a 3rd opening in the West Valley. Each of the centers has between 700-1000 visits every week....think about that...700-1000 visits every single week.
Have you been to one of the centers? It has taken some time but since the start of 2019 we have seen wonderfully positive changes. Volunteers and staff that embrace the welcoming and judgement free atmosphere! You can feel the difference just walking in the doors.

The Arizonans for Children Mesa Visitation Center has seen incredible transformations!
From moving the furniture a bit to cleaning and de-cluttering to cheery decor, the center feels alive with positive and welcoming energy!
What we thought might be a set back has proved to be a blessing. The food bank that was providing meals for kids after school ended their program with Arizonans for Children. We see so many hungry kids! Not to mention all the parents that have missed meals for a variety of reasons.
We started the Arizonans for Children Sack Meal Volunteer Opportunity!
One incredible phone call came in and now we are picking up food from The Olive Garden and Pizza Hut for the families to enjoy!
This little one excitedly said "I have ALWAYS wanted to have Olive Garden!"
When you do good things, good things happen! Our community has come together to help make sure these families can bond. They wont be hungry and they can enjoy the healing comfort that food brings.
