A few weeks ago, one of our mentors took her mentee to a retirement home to "give joy." Hello human kindness. This no doubt will be an experience that this mentee will remember. Crystal Reidy recently retired after 23 years of service with the Arizona Army National Guard. During her military career she was deployed twice including Central Command, Jordan and Iraq. In her civilian life she is pursuing her doctorate degree in Organizational Management and raising her five children along with her husband and fellow veteran Mario. On the weekends, you can find the family working on their food truck, hosting events for their non-profit that addresses food insecurities, or any other activity that lets them spend time together. Reidy commented on her board membership by saying, “I am so honored to be a part of the Arizonans for Children board. I have been blessed to see the impact this organization has on so many families.
